Just a week after her ex-husband, Nick Lachey, announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, Jessica Simpson also has big news -- she and her boyfriend of nearly seven months, former NFL player Eric Johnson, will also be walking down the aisle, a rep for the singer confirms to In Touch. "They are thrilled!" Jessica's spokesperson says, adding that the couple became engaged late last week. I feel bad for her as this is a mistake. This guy jumped on her before he was even divorced from his wife! Nick loved her and the Hollywood Fame Machine broke them up. It took him 6 years to move on. Message to Jessica: Don't be in love with being in love. You have a lot to offer so don't settle for someone who even people who don't know can see if bad for you.
