Old Rockers still raising hell. Or going senile.
When it comes to fighting back against music critics, Keith Richards still can't get no satisfaction.
The wily Rolling Stones rocker proved this Tuesday when he allegedly attacked a Swedish journalist during an interview in Paris, according to Spinner.
Markus Larsson, a reviewer for Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, said Richards was still furious over a bad rating the critic had given the Stones in 2007. A few minutes into their interview, which was part of a publicity tour for Richards' new autobiography 'Life', the rocker reportedly demanded a public apology and grew increasingly aggressive.
Larsson first thought the hot-tempered guitarist was joking around, but soon realized he could be in danger.
"His eyes got black and he was absolutely furious," Larsson said. "He stood up and asked if we would put out the lights and settle the disagreement straight away. I realized he was serious and then I began to feel uncomfortable and that I wanted to get out of there pretty fast."
The interview, which was supposed to last 30 minutes, quickly ended as Richards reportedly hit Larsson in the head and growled: "You're lucky to get out of here alive."
The veteran journalist said he had no intention of taking the confrontation any further.
"I do not want to end up in a scuffle with someone I interview," he told Aftonbladet.
The publication blasted Richards' behavior in a statement, calling him "out of balance."
Richards released "Life" in late October and has been on a grueling publicity tour since its release. At the age of 66, despite his erratic behavior, it appears he has no intention of slowing down - last Thursday, he confirmed the Stones will tour again in 2011.
"Only we will know when it comes to an end with a crashing halt," he told the BBC.

The journalist should be emabarassed that he let an old goat hit him - I would have swatted him with the back of my hand or just blow on him hard - he is so drugged up he'd just topple over and by the time he got back up he would have forgotten we were fighting.. I wouldn't tell anybody this old man beat me up....
