Brandy Norwood has one thing to say to people who are still mad about Bristol Palin making it to the "Dancing With the Stars" finale -- "Y'all leave Bristol alone," she says.Jacked from The NY Post
The 31-year-old R&B singer was a fan-favorite and expected to make it to the season finale dance off, but was shockingly voted off to wind up in fourth place.
While fans and fellow contestants -- most recently Margaret Cho -- grumbled about Tea Party voting conspiracies keeping Palin afloat, Brandy "tried to stay away from that particular perspective, because I had a bond with Bristol," she says, adding that it's unfair to blame the Palins for the way the competition turned out.
"I don't think people should point fingers, because, at the end of the day, it's about who America falls in love with, who America votes for and who the audience wants to see every week, and that's the beauty of the show."
Fans who didn't get enough of Brandy on "DWTS" will be happy to learn that there's more Brandy dancing footage out there.
Turns out that ABC cameras weren't the only ones chronicling Brandy's ballroom dancing experience -- VH1 was also there filming for Season 2 of the series she shares with her brother, R&B/hip hop singer Ray J, "Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business."
The series, which premieres Sunday at 11 p.m., started shooting four months ago, only a few weeks before "DWTS" started.
In the premiere episode, you see Brandy weighing the decision of signing on to the dance show, and later in the season, Brandy promises much more behind-the-scenes "DWTS" action.
"We didn't have to worry about the actual dancing on our show, so we can get more than a minute [of non-dancing footage]," she says, adding that you definitely see her being "emotional at times" during misunderstandings with dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
There's also more drama to be had when the duo first begins to work together. They "bump heads, because we don't know each other . . . You see us trying to figure out what our intent is and where we're both coming from," she says.
What you won't get to see, though, are cameos of her 8-year-old daughter, Sy'rai.
"I want her to have as much of a normal life as possible and I want to protect her from what comes along with the media," Brandy says. "But I know that she wants to get into entertainment, because she's already upset that she can't be in front of the camera, and she really loves singing and dancing and her personality is so big -- she's definitely got the bug."

Brandy Says Leave Bristol Alone
If you're still debating whether or not Brandy should have gone farther on Dancing With the Stars than Bristol Palin, Brandy says put it in the past.

Brandy, unless you're planning to speak up for Obama and the injustices he's experiencing from the right-wing media slander machine, Bristol Palin and her Tea Bagger supporters don't need any of your absent-minded assistance.
Oh, my bad, you're just trying to pump up viewership for your own show. Smooth move, Ms. Norwood.
Phuck Brandy, alien looking ass. All the Palins too.
gosh you are so evil Nubian, but if there's anybody that needs some serious voodoo or roots thrown on them it's these racist white ass repbulicans and the millions of racists that blindly vote for them. all the open minded non racist white folks clearly live up north, causet they don't tolerate republican nonsense around these parts.
Sooo...now you all have a problem with Brandy not being a sore loser. GTFOH and GrowTFU! Sheesh!
