Diddy was throwing himself an album launch party at the posh London Hotel on West 54th Street in Manhattan.
But the party got more than hot when a model leaned over a candle, and flames began pluming from her wild tresses.
As seen in a video of the event, the beauty screamed and dunked her head in a conveniently located bathtub.
Diddy, seemingly worried, suddenly appears on camera asking why firefighters had been called.
He later announced, "The Fire Department just left upstairs. It's crazy, but everything is under control."
Despite the seeming live video stream, the NY Fire Department had no records of responding to a burning hot model at Diddy's "event".
