Pop star Kesha alludes to a rough upbringing. Says she was exposed to sex at a very early age.

Though, she doesn’t sound too torn up about it. Needless to say, Ke$ha isn’t losing any sleep at night wondering why her mom didn’t spend more time with her or who her father is.
“I knew everything about sex before I was even seven. My mom left me at home when I was 14 with a credit card, and a box of condoms and the keys to the car and said, ‘Don’t get pregnant and don’t drink and drive’.
“I had to be responsible for myself.”
The singer also adds that at her shows she’s upfront about everything. If kids don’t want to hear about sex and alcohol, they shouldn’t go to her concerts.
“I’m not a babysitter. My b**ls are on the table. I’m very upfront with who I am. There is sex. There is alcohol. The kids are gonna figure it out someday.”
As for who Ke$ha’s real dad is, she says, “I talked to my mum about it. She has a sketchy memory. I don’t really care. I’m going to pretend like my dad is Mick Jagger and proceed.”

I've always said this ho is so gross. Now it's understadable, bad language and all.
At least she's honest about being the whore she is, talking about sex and drugs in front of young impressionable children. It's up to the parents to put a stop of listening to that skank, and if they end up cracked out and pregnant, it's their fault.
Well she does not sound like she has gain any real self respect for herself over the years nor does she sound like she understands her worth as a woman.
I am not so sure why everyone rides so hard on Ke$ha. I find her music to be both entertaining and about as wholesome as you would expect out of CLUB MUSIC. Yeah, she says some outrageous things about her personal cleanliness but that's probably related to her image (its what her audience of college kids want to hear). I certainly find her more fun then Lady Gaga. She's being honest here- she doesn't exactly know (or at this point care) who her father is. So? Happens all the time. She does know what she wants and she went out and got it at a very young age (check the bio-or as the kids would say "google her". Now she is a popstar. She deserves a round of applause for making it out of her situation. I don't see any proof that she is maladjusted. She's just neon colored in a primary colored pop musicscape.
BULLSHIT!!!! Kesha and her family (including MOM and little BROTHER) were on The Simple Life.
