Last year Sundance Film Festival founder Robert Redford embarrassed the hell out of Paris Hilton for being a swag hag, this year Paris opted not to show up at Sundance at all.
On the first day of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, Robert Redford singled out Paris Hilton and her “ilk” as a destructive force for the event. He admitted the film festival had been “sliding” for the past few years and he blamed the marketeers who took over houses and spaces on Main Street at absurdly inflated rental prices to hand out their swag. Unfortunately, that year, Paris was already THERE when he made these remarks, and she had tons of empty suitcases ready to be greedily filled up with free stuff. THIS year, for the first time in memory, Paris didn’t embarrass herself by showing up at the 2011 festival and loading up on freebies. Maybe Robert Redford got through to her.

Well, I can only speak on my own people and what I see happening in the world. I notice when black people die, they usually leave bills because when we get money, we go broke trying to front like we were rich all along. When white folks die, they leave wills because they understand the concept of generational wealth.They save their money, and keep it in the family.I say black people need to spend their money more intelligently.I look around all the time looking for whose really doing it big and whose just to trying to look like they are. I follow the lead of the former and do okay for a guy my age.

It is also called education. They need to learn how to invest. Learn how to do your own accounting. Stop taking care of friends, cousins etc. Stop having kids all over the place. Each kid you have cost money.

I think it's disgusting how this country operates on a foundation of greed - they'll give away freebies to people who can afford to buy the companies outright and then mark up their products for the average man consumer who has to work hard to make every purchase - and people like Paris who are so greedy and happy to go grab up the freebies are the epitome of what is so wrong with America... it's like the corporations - they make ridiculous profit margis but have the audacity to lay people off and cut salaries talking about yeah we did good but not as good as we did 5 years ago so see ya... uuggghh I'm glad Robert made her feel small... more of them should get called out for their greedy self-entitlement behavior.
