Jennifer Hudson Channels Her Inner Diva

Jennifer Hudson has a new attitude to go along with her new shape.
Jennifer Hudson could be the next Mariah Carey — and not just because of her killer pipes and curves. The slimmed-down songbird showed off her diva-licious side at the second annual Mary J. Blige Honors Concert on Sunday, where a source at the Hammerstein Ballroom says Hudson kept media waiting on the red carpet while she did a sound check inside. When she finally left via the back door, she hopped in what our source says was a white Rolls-Royce to be driven "around the block to the carpet." There, "her makeup artist and hair stylist hopped in the car to touch her up" before her closeup. Despite the high maintenance, our insider tells us Jen was "very sweet" all night.

Um.. if she was "very sweet" then that means she wasn't a diva. The Daily News is wack for this one..

I don't see any problem with this at all. Slow news jacking day?

There is nothing wrong with that, she probably had to finish getting ready in the car, so that she can be on point for the pictures. Every real musician does a sound check.

Im sorry but her body just looks very unrealistic here...

@11:48 - its called lapband or gastro..

^^^It's called fat, jealous bitches!! Lap band/gastro isn't performed on a person who is only a size 16, as Jennifer was. Are you stupid enough to believe a size 16 is MORBIDLY obese; which is the requirement for such surgeries. Are you also stupid enough to believe it takes 16 months to lose 80lbs with these surgeries?! Ummm...weight loss with surgeries is RAPID, more like 80lbs in 4 months, not 16!

Try again, boo....#LameJealousandFat

@12:53 You obviously are unaware that the rules that apply to common folks simply do not apply to celebs. If she wants lap band surgery, there are docs that will do it, no matter what her size is. Apply your logic to Michael Jackson, Anna Nicole Smith, Donda West (Kanye's Mom), etc.

@11:48 I definitely agree with you. Her weight loss is not due to weight watchers. It is definitely due to surgery.

I think we are all smart enough to know the same rules don't apply to celebrities, but I know someone who had gastric bypass. She was dropping an average of 20 pounds a month. In fact, she had lost 20 pounds before even leaving the hospital immediately after the surgery.

Additionally, after MJ's doctor going on trial for giving him anesthesia, I think a lot of rules are gonna change for celebs--unless their doctors want to be charged with malpractice and manslaughter.

...and you still have not responded to the comment about why did it take Jennifer 16 months to lose 80 pounds if she had surgery?

...and I have NEVER, in all of my life, heard anything about MJ, Anna or Donda having weight loss surgery---and neither have YOU! So, stop starting rumors on the internet. MJ was ALWAYS thin; when was he ever overweight to need surgery?! Anna used Trim Spa--and only lost 40 pounds!!! So, now people get gastric bypass to lose 40 pounds...OK-K-K *Screw face* And Donda West died having lipo and a tummy tuck--not gastric bypass!

Like, I said, stop starting rumors on the internet. It's always the fat chicks who get mad and say, "Well if I had JHud's money and could afford gastric bypass, I could lose all that weight too". Whatever gets you through the night...

===================================
Look dumbass. I am not even the other annony. But it took her a long time because like YOU ALREADY stated she wasn't morbid. That's why. If you aren't morbid its going to take a little bit of time. Kick rocks. She had lap band. Not gastric. Jhud is paid like you would think. When is the last time you bought a Jhud album?

J hud is quite a bore and reminds me of lettuce.

@ 11:04 You are such a loser and lack common sense. MJ received propofol, an anestethic that's supposed be used in a hospital. According to your logic, he couldn't get it at home, but he did, didn't he??? Anna Nicole Smith was on a plethora of drugs that she should not have been on. But she still got them, didn't she??? Donda West had liposuction even though she had a pre-existing heart condition, didn't she??? So to my point, moron, celebs can have the procedures or drugs their not suppose to have if THEY WANT IT. Think outside the box retard.

@3:30

Agreed. These celebs can have anything they want (whether they are suppose to have it or not!)and these doctors don't care as long as they are getting paid. Bottom line.

@11:04

STFU with your delusional self. Go diagnose yourself and see what you come up with.

I have to agree with some of the posters that Anna Nicole Smith did not loose ONE pound from Trim Spa! It is well documented that she had a cocaine problem (quick weight-loss solution) plus she used human growth hormone (google it) which aided with her weight loss and some think she may have overdosed from this hormone.

I believe Jennifer lost weight with weight watchers. She's not the first and won't be the last to loose a lot of weight by following weight watchers. But there is no denying that some celebs do skate around the system (for example, Courtney Love was rumored to have a lap band even though she was skinny to begin).

However, having worked closely to that field, most people who undergo gastric bypass will not lose enough weight to be Jennifer's small size. Most ppl with gastric bypass end up between 150-180lbs (which is a big difference from say 300 or 400 lbs).
