Will Smith parked his three story personal trailer on a residential street in Manhattan and refused to move it until ordered by the Mayor of New York.

The actor is currently filming his new blockbuster Men In Black III in the Big Apple and his mobile home has been parked in the city's SoHo district close to the film set.
The sizeable structure, which is set over two floors and features a cinema, a lounge bar and offices, as well as a full-sized kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom, angered neighbors who complained about having the trailer parked outside their homes.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg has now waded into the furor by demanding Smith move the trailer to a private car park, telling reporters in the city, "Why you need a trailer that big? I didn’t know trailers came that big."
A statement from the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theater and Broadcasting, reads, "To balance the interests of the production and the neighborhood, we have instructed Men in Black 3 to relocate the trailer to a private lot."
The trailer has now been moved to a private parking lot, half a mile (0.8 kilometres) away from the movie set.
Smith was asked about the controversy by reporters on Wednesday (11May11), before the mayor demanded the trailer be moved, and the actor described the fuss over his mobile home as "hilarious", according to the New York Post.
The publication also reports two city Council members have now suggested legislation should be introduced to regulate the size of film production vehicles. Public Safety Committee chair Peter Vallone, Jr., says, "Hardworking New Yorkers have a right to wake up in the morning and not find a cruise ship parked out in front of their house. This is New York, not Hollywood. We don’t roll that way.”
