Despite reports that Jennifer Lopez is "devastated" by her split with Marc Anthony, J. Lo's confidantes say her soon-to-be-ex-husband was "very controlling" behind the scenes of her "American Idol" career. Friends of the couple say Anthony was known to turn up on the "Idol" set and make demands on her behalf. Meantime, according to unconfirmed reports, the split may have been the result of an affair J. Lo allegedly had with William Levy, dubbed "The Brad Pitt of Cuba." But Levy flatly denied that he and Lopez had a relationship while filming her music video for "I'm Into You" in April. I will say this for J-Lo; I'm glad that she finally had some control about her to get married FIRST, then have babies. I'm surprised and glad that she stayed married for 7 years.
I think JLo's people have been working on this since she joined AI. Marc didn't just become controlling last week he was that way with his first wife and this was common knowledge. There are other issues like Marc's drug and money problems. I also wouldn't put it past JLo cheating.
