Nicki Minaj Involved in Violent Brawl

The police had to be called after Nicki Minaj and her boyfriend got into a fight at a fancy Dallas hotel.

Just one week after being left devastated by the murder of her cousin, Nicki Minaj has been involved in a violent brawl in a Dallas, Texas hotel.

Police were called to the Palomar Hotel last night, by an employee after the 26-year-old singer got into a verbal altercation with a man by the swimming pool.

The male was initially unidentified in reports but TMZ claim Dallas police have told them the alleged attacker is Nicki's boyfriend and assistant Safaree Samuels.

According to the police report, Nicki followed Samuels up to the room they were sharing, to make sure he didn't take any of her stuff.

Nicki was in the room looking into her suitcase, which had some of Samuels' belongings inside it, when she says he 'grabbed the suitcase and as he was picking it up, he shoved it across [Nicki's] chin and lower lip.'

The police report goes on to recount how the pop sensation's 'teeth struck the inside of her lower lip, causing the inside of the lower lip to cut and start to bleed.'

According to the report, a paramedic arrived on scene, but Nicki decided she didn't want to press charges so the case was closed.

The website also reported that Nicki told the staff to call the police before following the man believed now to be Samuels back to their hotel room.

The singer has been dating rapper Samuels for over a year, he also works as her assistant.
