Janelle Monae Sings for the President

Janelle Monae was invited to perform at the White House State dinner and President Obama requested she sing his favorite song.
At the recent White House State dinner, President Barack Obama made a special request of Janelle Monae. The president and First Lady Michelle Obama personally asked for Janelle Monae to perform her hit record "Tightrope."

Janelle was ecstatic by the president's request, she wrote on Facebook, "Just performed (at) The White House for the State Dinner!!!!! President Obama and First Lady are Big Fans!!!! Wow! I'm So Honored!!!!! They requested "tightrope"! ha!"

The electric singer entertained over 200 guests at the head of states affair that honored South Korean President Lee Myung-bak.

Tightrope. Ironically appropriate. Don't worry Obama. You have MY vote next election!

Her last cd was off the chain. Better than her first. I don't care how she wears her hair. She's an A+ artiste.
