At the recent White House State dinner, President Barack Obama made a special request of Janelle Monae. The president and First Lady Michelle Obama personally asked for Janelle Monae to perform her hit record "Tightrope."Jacked from The Singers Room
Janelle was ecstatic by the president's request, she wrote on Facebook, "Just performed (at) The White House for the State Dinner!!!!! President Obama and First Lady are Big Fans!!!! Wow! I'm So Honored!!!!! They requested "tightrope"! ha!"
The electric singer entertained over 200 guests at the head of states affair that honored South Korean President Lee Myung-bak.
