Dr. Steven M. Zeitels, director of Massachusetts General Hospital's Voice Center, "expects Adele to make a full recovery from her laser microsurgery," the hospital said in a statement. Zeitels has previously treated other singers with similar ailments, including Aerosmith's Steven Tyler.
Adele has been suffering recurring rupturing of blood vessels in her vocal cords. Last month she canceled several weeks of upcoming touring in the U.S. due to the issue.

Not surprised. The way she sings, you can tell that she's straining her vocal chords. Most singers have to be taught how to sing properly so they don't end up in the same predicament. I think that's how Fanny's crazy behind ended up with vocal problems.

adele said that this issue was about how she treats her voice when she's NOT singing. she laughs, screams, drinks, smokes and talks loud all of the time.
