A huge question mark hands over whether the vocalist and guitarist of the legendary 'Paradise City' rockers will put their differences aside to accept the band's induction to the Rock 'N' Roll Hall Of Fame in April next year, and while they haven't spoken since Slash left the band in 1996, Axl insists their disagreements go back much further.
He told the LA Times newspaper: "It was really a fight with me and Slash. [Second guitarist] Izzy was doing the same thing, but the fight with me and Slash started the day I met him.
"He came in, popped my tape out and put his in and wanted me in his band. And I didn't want to join his band. We've had that war since Day One."

Axel is a pig. Remember the song "One in a Million"? Not sure why Slash even worked with this dude.
Is that where he referred to a black man as a dope dealer, and said, "we don't want your drugs or gold chains today?" That's why I was surprised to hear Slash was black. I'd have kicked his ass and dropped out the band right then and there.

I get what you are saying but...let Slash get pulled over or apply for a job and that one rule goes into full effect. I remember pre-scandal Tiger Woods, when he first started winning, some Asians were complaining that his Asian mother(Chinese/Thai) was ignored. But let Tiger Woods be a carjacker and they want no part of him. The one drop rule has no basis in science.

Since when did it become ok to deny you're Black? If one of your parents is Black, guess what? You're considered Black. And not only are you considered Black, it's not a terrible thing to be. The only reason why there's controversy is because White is still considered better than Black in this stupid, racist society of ours. If it was the other way around and Whites had been enslaved, they would be claiming Black and proudly wearing the label.
Some of you do need to read your history books and better yet, go beyond that because we were systematically left out the history books. Do your own research. Learn why the one drop rule was put in place.
Learn why some Blacks chose to "pass" rather thad endure the hatred, bigotry and social stigma of being Black in this country.
How anyone can willingly deny their racial heritage and pretend not to be Black is beyond my comprehension.
Now back to the topic at hand.....Axel has always been a racist idiot. His music is riddled with bigotry. I would never buy any of his music and I never have. I never understood how Slash could choose to be a part of a band whose lead singer was so racist.
Whether Slash thinks he's Black or not, he's still seen as Black so there was no need for him to co-sign that racist Tomfuckery that is Axel Stinking Rose.
