Russell Brand is accused of smashing an iPhone after a photographer tried to film him.

We haven’t heard much about Russell Brand since signing his smiley faced signature on his divorce papers, but he has popped up in the news once again, this time for smashing a phone.
The incident occurred in New Orleans Monday night when a photographer (paps) was trying to film Russell Brand with his iPhone. Who knows what words were exchanged, if any, but something must have ticked off ol’ Russell boy because he grabbed the phone and hurled it through a window of an abandoned building. Yeah, he broke the window and most likely the iPhone too. You know those things crack like eggs.
Anyhow, police were contacted and a report was filed. They are currently looking to question Brand about the ordeal, no word on if there will be any charges. Who knows what really happened … that “photographer” may have just said something about Katy, ya dig?
