Charlie Sheen went berzerk after his pre-teen daughters refused to walk the red carpet at their mother Denise Richard's movie premier.

On Monday night in NYC, Charlie Sheen bailed last minute on attending the premiere of Madea's Witness Protection with ex-wife Denise Richards and their adorable daughters Sam, 8, and Lola, 6 -- but not before throwing a tantrum.
A source tells Us Weekly that the 46-year-old actor flew into a rage when Sam and Lola balked on walking the red carpet with their parents for the Tyler Perry film, in which Richards stars; Sheen had previously asked Richards and film producers about tagging along for the event.
"They're shy," the source explains of Sam and Lola. "They just wanted to see their mom's movie."
This didn't sit well with Sheen. "Charlie bugged out and flipped out on them," the source says, adding that Sheen bellowed, "'Why am I even f--king here? This is the photo opp I wanted!' He tried to make Denise make them walk the carpet. She refused, obviously."
It was the end of a long family weekend in the Big Apple gone seriously awry. One insider told Us that Sheen had a messy, drug-fueled party with escorts in his suite at the Ritz-Carlton -- leading to a "trashed" hotel room in a repeat of a notorious fall 2010 incident at the Plaza Hotel.
Late Tuesday, reps for Sheen and the Ritz denied the claim.
"Denise is kicking herself for not learning her lesson," a source says of Richards, who was just down the hall with their daughters at the Plaza during the fall 2010 incident. Before their recent weekend trip began, Sheen "told Denise that this was a chance for a 'do over' of their disastrous trip to New York from the past," the source says. "Denise wasvery clear with Charlie that he had to be on his best, best behavior if they were to do this again. She didn't want to put the girls through another nightmare."
