Azealia Banks Copying Iggy Azealia?

Harlem rapper Azealia Banks feud with Aussie rapper Iggy Azealia is legendary, but did Azealia steal the concept from Iggy for her latest video?
Rap newbie Azealia Banks has released the music video to her new song "1991" recently. However, the internet was abuzz over the video yesterday but for claims and evidence of her copying another newcomer in the hip-hop community, Grand Hustle member Iggy Azalea's music video "The Last Song" shot last year and released back in January.
Some people were surprised over the evidence that shows identical scenes and frame selection considering that Azealia has been taking shots at Iggy for different reasons since last year, including back when the Grand Hustle artist became the first woman to appear on XXL's annual Freshman magazine cover (the issue features the ten picks of whom to watch out for, and on the cover of the magazine and showcases new rappers that aren't well known, but are considered to be on the rise) earlier this year and Banks didn't seem too happy about her not being in it.
Azealia quickly tweeted "Channelling Madonna, Crystal Waters, And Aaliyah for ya!" right after people noticed the similarities and started posting several comments on YouTube and Twitter between the two videos but the fact that both of them have a similar idea or pay "homage" to the same elements seems a bit too clear (but hey, maybe that's the idea).

How in the world can two new female commercial rappers who emerged around the same time have the same name? That makes NO sense at all. The fuckery is so blatant nowadays. They're all on the same team at the end of the day- industry puppets vs the drones who spend $ to fund their industry and lifestyle.

they're both overrated and only getting attention because folks are tired of shitti garbaj.

Please, they don't have any say so on the videography whatsoever. They're just puppet dolls apart of the same old recycled entertainment industry.

the stills make the videos seem like they are more alike than they actually are. despite some similiar elements they didn't remind me of each other. and despite them having similar names the rappers don't remind me of each other either. banks seems like she will have more staying power although i found her flow to get quite annoying after awhile. its like her voice got stuck in the foxy brown lil kim mixer but her lyrics aren't as hard as theirs. iggy is interesting to look at and has a nice flow but something about her just screams gimmick (not saying she is), she just doesn't remind me of someone that will be around that long, i could be wrong. i wish them both well especially ms banks cuz i know it has to be hard to be an average looking dark skin chick in the rap game right now. the industry plays favorites to certain looking type females (like iggy): big butt, half-dressed, blonde hair. so kudos to ms banks for having a shot and taking it seriously.

Azealia Banks is just fucking with peoples heads.. She knows what the fuck she's doing, even in that song she says "Illumina princess. Pyramid, one eye, on my assets." She's probably just laughing at you people for believing in it.
