Sources for TMZ claim the troubled actress, 26, has been drinking heavily “for months now,” as much as two liters of vodka per-day.
Lohan — who on Thursday was charged with three crimes in relation to her June 2012 car accident in California — has reportedly turned to alcohol to ease the stress caused by her financial woes and possible probation violation.
She was also said to be drinking all day on Thursday, the night she was arrested for getting into a fight at a nightclub in New York City.
Meanwhile, the alleged victim of the fight, Tiffany Eve Mitchell, 28, now claims that Lohan fired a racial slur at her, which ultimately prompted the fight.
According to TMZ, a friend of Mitchell’s heard Lohan call her a “f**king Gypsy,” leading Mitchell to call Lohan a “whore” and say that her Lifetime TV movie Liz & Dick“sucked.”
Lohan was arrested Thursday morning at 4AM and charged with third-degree misdemeanor battery.
