Football great Dan Marino admits he fathered a child outside his marriage 8 years ago.
Fessing up: Dan Marino, who fathered a child out of wedlock, reported the New York Post Thursday. The clean-cut Hall of Fame Miami Dolphin quarterback and CBS analyst — he’s slated to appear in Sunday’s Super Bowl broadcast — had a baby girl with a CBS production assistant in 2005, then paid the woman millions to stay mum. “This is a personal and private matter,” Marino, 51, told the paper in a statement. “I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then. We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved.” Marino and his wife, who have six children, celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary Wednesday. “We continue to be a strong and loving family,” he said.Jacked from The Washington Post
