Katy Perry and Rihanna's once close friendship is in tatters over Rihanna's decision to get back with Chris Brown.
Katy Perry and Rihanna's friendship has allegedly been ruined as a result of rapper Chris Brown's re-entry into the Barbadian singer's life.
The 28-year-old pop star has been a close friend to the Barbadian-born chart-topper for some years.
Their friendship has now reportedly come to a bitter end following Rihanna's recent interview withRolling Stone magazine, in which she confirmed she is back with her abusive ex-boyfriend Chris.
"Katy was always the one person who could really stand up to Rihanna," a source close to the star told British magazine Grazia.
"When it comes to Chris, Rihanna isn't willing to listen. Katy is still incredibly angry about what Chris did, and she doesn't believe he can change."
The demise of the two US pop princesses' friendship is said to have been in the works for some time. Katy is reportedly concerned about Rihanna's unstoppable hedonistic lifestyle and deeply fears for her health.
Friends say that Katy is so strongly against Rihanna's decision to try again with shamed star Chris that she has washed her hands of her completely now.
"She has stuck her neck out for Rihanna, and so it really hurt when Rihanna ignored her advice. Katy told Rihanna that she couldn't stick around and watch someone she loves make such a big mistake, and that she had to walk away. They haven't spoken for months," the friend revealed. That's right Rihanna. Stick up for your abusive man. And when you lose everybody in your life over this abusive man, and your career as well, youll look around and find that you've lost Chris too. Because then you'll have NOTHING and NOBODY left that HE needs to get back in good with the industry. Oh yeah, you'll have your, "I don't give a fuck!" stank attitude but by then nobody will care!
Rihanna does not need Katie Perry as a friend. I'm a woman & Women friends are annoying, I only like them as associates from a far. They are too judgemental and wanna run your life.
Skylah: If true, it's honestly nice to witness the love and concern that Katy has for Rhi. I find the story to be repetitive, Katy took a stance from the jump & she's sticking to it. Let's just respect that & keep it moving, like they are.
I honestly don't think they're "friend friends", more like "industry pussy partners". And if Katy's next album flops, I doubt that Rihanna will want to hang around her anymore for fear that her commecial failure would somehow rub off on her.
True friends will be in there till the end no matter what or who comes in the relationship. Katy was never a true friend.

They fell out when Katy was married to the asshole Russell Brand because Rihanna didn't like him and Katy didn't like Chris. Now they not speaking again because of Chris.
