Lindsay Lohan Admits Addictions on Oprah

In an eye opening interview with Oprah Winfrey Lindsay Lohan admits being an addict and says going to jail gave her peace.

The highly anticipated sit down between Lindsay Lohan and Oprah Winfrey aired Sunday night, with the embattled starlet making a few shocking confessions — including how she actually subconsciously wanted to go to jail.
"I think it was just to find some peace and just have no choice but to just sit and be,” Lohan, 27, told Winfrey.
But even 84 days behind bars in 2007 didn’t do enough to change what the media maven described as Lohan’s addiction to chaos.
This time the actress said her 90-day rehab stint, which ended in July, was different.
“I wasn't fighting at all,” she explained. “I just let go and was able to just be like 'OK you probably do know what's best,' because my idea of doing what's best for me has not worked in the past.’”
"I came into it just really willing, really craving more spirituality. Really open and ready to get really honest."
Also grilled by Winfrey about her addictions, Lohan admitted that she is an addict and that alcohol is her drug of choice.
“That, in the past, was a gateway to other things for me," she said, detailing her past cocaine use — which she’d only done 10 or 15 times.
“It allowed me to drink more. I think that's why I did it,” she said.
The “Canyons” actress assured the talk queen that she’s done with the hard drugs and riotous living, and that now she’s on nothing but vitamins and Nexium for her acid reflux.
