Wheel of Fortune letter turner Vanna White is distraught after her teen age son joined the Hare Krishna cult.
In a stunning world exclusive, The ENQUIRER has discovered that VANNA WHITE is facing heartbreak over her 19-year-old son Nicholas!
The teen — known as Nikko to pals — is a student at the University of Arizona. But pals fear he's being brainwashed by a controversial monk from the Hare Krishna religious cult.
And sources tell The ENQUIRER that the 34-year-old monk has not only been turning Nikko away from his parents — Vanna and her ex-husband George Santo Pietro - but is trying to wheedle big bucks out of them.
"Vanna can't believe what's happened to Nikko," said a source close to the 56-year-old "Wheel of Fortune" letter-turner. "But she doesn't know what to do because she doesn't want to lose Nikko to this religious cult."
Even more disturbing, Nikko now lives with the monk, who was born in the West African nation of Liberia.
One expert tells The ENQUIRER that the Hare Krishnas are "notorious" for "brainwashing" members into rejecting their families and turning over their bank accounts and inheritances.Jacked from The National Enquirer
