Sources claim Justin Bieber was bawling his eyes out in jail after his arrest.

Justin Bieber may be smiling in one of his mugshots, but his sentencing for his DUI arrest was no laughing matter.

The pop star's bond has been set at $2,500 after being arrested early Thursday morning for driving under the influence and drag racing in Miami.

A stolid looking Bieber wore a jail uniform and appeared in court with his attorney Roy Black, who defended Rush Limbaugh when he was on trial for his battle with prescription drugs.

But the emotions came later for the 19-year-old star.

Upon returning to the detention center, Bieber was "crying his eyes out," a source tells PEOPLE.

Bieber is also currently under investigation for allegedly throwing eggs at his neighbor's home.
