USA reality show star Todd Chrisley of Christley Knows Best says there is no coming out of the closet, he is what he is.
Todd Chrisley's USA reality show isn't even out yet – and he's already addressing rumors he's gay.
The star of Chrisley Knows Best, which debuts March 11, says he's heard the rumblings about his sexuality for years. And such talk has only intensified as the premiere date approaches.
"There's no coming out," says the Atlanta millionaire, who's been married to wife Julie for 18 years and has five children. "What you see is what you get. I am what I am. Other people's opinions of me are just not my business."
Chrisley says he's proudly flamboyant, unabashedly enthusiastic about fashion, and yes, absolutely went to see Elton John for his 40th birthday.
"So what?" he says, noting that a man Tweeted a message to him not long ago asking, "When are you going to come out of the closet?"
"I said, 'I don't live in a closet, but if you'd like me to escort you out of yours I'm happy to do so.' All of a sudden the Tweet went away and he took it down because I flipped the script on him."
Later, Chrisley says his eldest daughter, Lindsay, told him to be ready to become a gay pop icon.
"I said, 'Lindsay, I'd rather be a gay pop icon than I would a redneck ... I'm 45. I really don't care what your opinion of me is. The fact that you are thinking about I'm doing in my bedroom at 45 is exciting to me."Jacked from People

I think it's pretty obvi from the trailors alone.
Whatever. I sure him and his stepford beard have reached an agreement (aka "It's cheaper to keep her") and will be shucking and jiving for (additional) $$$ like every other clown on "reality" television.

The show is a huge success, just picked up for a second season. I just wish they'd make it an hour long show, 1/2 hour just passes too quickly.
Don't know what issues anonymous has with reality shows/stars...I would suggest if he doesn't like them, don't watch them.
As for Chrisley Knows Best, I find Todd very funny, the family while somewhat off-beat, very loving and delightfully quirky. The show is a hit and I'm thrilled it's been picked up for another season.
@jjrn13 I agree 100%. I find his family quriky but absolutely delightful. It is a refreshing and much appreciated change from all the screaming and negativity on the other "reality" shows. I would rather watch them then the Kardashians any day. As to whether or not he is or isn't gay....none of my business. That is between him his wife and God. <3
