11 Month Old Son Found with Peaches Geldof's Dead Body

Peaches Geldof's 11-month-old son Phaedra was with his mother when she died.
Sadly we are now learning new information surrounding the death of socialite and journalist Peaches Geldof. As previously reported Geldof was found dead in her home at the age of 25. Geldof, who allegedly had problems with substance abuse in the past was found by a friend, when her husband Thomas Cohen asked to check in on her at their home in Kent. Peaches’ husband became concerned when she didn’t respond to phone calls.
Details are emerging about the day Peaches was found, and according to a new report the daughter of singer-songwriter Bob Geldof was found not too far away from her 11-month-old son Phaedra. Geldof’s son was found playing close to her when the journalist was found.
According to the UK Sun the family hopes that Peaches’ son won’t retain any information since he’s so young. “The hope is that Phaedra is so young he wasn’t aware of what was going on — the most important thing is that he’s OK. It is devastating for Tom that he wasn’t there but it couldn’t have been avoided.”
It’s said that Peaches was into attachment parenting, which is a philosophy based on parenting that helps the child to form a secure attachment style which “fosters a child’s socio-emotional development and well-being.” That said, Peaches was said to be rarely without her sons. According to sources close to the family they are currently taking comfort that Geldof didn’t die alone.
“Phaedra was by her side most of the time, even when she was sleeping. At the very least, there can be some comfort that she wasn’t by herself when she died.”
A day before her death Geldof posted a photo of herself as a child with her mother Paula Yates. Her mother died when Peaches was 11-years-old from a drug overdose in 2000. Going from the Instagram photo it appears that Peaches never reconciled with her mother’s death. At the time Tiger Lily, Paula’s daughter, was found playing nearby when she was found in her London home.
Geldof’s body has undergone an initial autopsy, and according to the coroners report the results were inconclusive. A toxicology report will be coming out in a few weeks.
