Aaron Carter blames Dancing with the Stars stage fright for his addiction to prescription pills.
Aaron Carter appeared on “Entertainment Tonight,” and in addition to talking about his enduring love for Hilary Duff, he owned up about his history of drug addiction.
The singer revealed that a lot of his drug problems started with his 2009 stint on “Dancing with the Stars.”
“When I was doing ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ I developed an addiction to Xanax because of stage fright,” said Carter. Fortunately, Carter shared, “an opportunity happened where I could save my life.”Jacked from Gossip Cop
