Jennifer Lawrence shares a funny story about being snubbed by Jennifer Lopez snubs Jennifer at the Met Gala.
Actress Jennifer Lawrence was left red-faced during a recent star-studded event after Jennifer Lopez snubbed an invite to dance with her.
The Hunger Games star was partying with comedian pal Jimmy Fallon when the tipsy pair came up with a little choreographed dance routine in a bid to convince the On The Floor hitmaker, who was a fellow guest at the bash, to join them.
Appearing on America's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, Lawrence explained, "We both saw J.Lo, and this was like 10 Jello shots in... So we were dancing and we saw J.Lo and were like, 'Well, we gotta get J.Lo to dance!' So I was like, 'We'll do a spin, and then we'll (hold our hands out and) go, 'Dance with us!'"
But the plan fell apart as Fallon made a quick exit, leaving Lawrence to unknowingly perform the routine by herself - much to her embarrassment.
She said, "I do it, he's gone and it's just me looking at J.Lo going, 'Dance with me!'. She was like, 'I think I'm just gonna observe.'"
Turning to Fallon, she added, "You made me look like a freak in front of J.Lo! Do you know what that feels like?"Jacked from The Toronto Sun

OK... asking blacks and Latinos to dance with you can be taken the wrong way as if you are asking us to dance FOR you...it is a sensitive subject...take note J. Law. I have been asked to dance at certain holiday parties where I just ended up being the "entertainment" for others to gawk at, just by simple dancing, nothing salacious. Turns uncomfortable quickly.
i will never understand jennifer lawrence's appeal. to me, she comes across like an obnoxious frat boy with boobs.
