Bruce Jenner to Sit Down with Diane Sawyer

Bruce Jenner set to open up to Diane Sawyer about his new life changes.

Bruce Jenner will open up to Diane Sawyer about transitioning to life as a woman.
The Olympic legend, 65, is set to sit down with the ABC News journalist for the eagerly anticipated interview, an ABC insider confirmed to Page Six on Monday.
The special is slated to air in May, added the insider. Portions of the piece are set to start filming this week. Last week, Us Weekly reported that Jenner planned to grant a TV interview and star in a docuseries for E!, which airs the family’s reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
Jenner’s decision to go with ABC has caused “internal consternation” in NBC’s news division, since NBCUniversal owns E!, according to BuzzFeed, which first reported that Jenner was in final negotiations for an interview with Sawyer. Last week, stepdaughter Kim Kardashian talked about Jenner’s “journey,” which is expected to be a plot point on the upcoming season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” Jenner’s children and stepchildren reportedly are supportive. “I think everyone goes through things in life and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right,” said Kardashian, 34. “I feel like that’s his journey to talk about.”
Ex-wife Kris Jenner has not spoke publicly about reports of Bruce’s life changes.
ABC and NBC declined to comment.
