Eva Longoria and Tony Parker's marriage ended because Tony was hooking up with a teammates' wife. Adding insult to injury, the couples also happened to be very close friends.
The woman at the center of the Eva Longoria and Tony Parker divorce is Erin Barry – the wife of Parker’s former San Antonio Spurs team mate Brent Barry, according to a new report.
Sports Illustrated staff writer Bryan Armen Graham took to Twitter a short time ago to break the news.
“Have it on good authority from entertainment sources that ‘former teammate’ in Tony Parker-Eva Longoria affair is Brent Barry,” Graham wrote, adding the Barrys are also going through a divorce.
RadarOnline.com contacted Erin’s brother Casey who would not confirm or deny his sister is at the center of the shock break-up.
“When we are ready to speak about this, we will contact the press,” he said.
Another media outlet reported Erin cried and said “no comment” when asked to respond to the claims.
RadarOnline.com has confirmed the couples had a strong relationship and were friends before Longoria and Parker’s seven-year marriage imploded, amid allegations that he had been cheating on the Desperate Housewife’s star.
In a recent interview, Erin gushed about married life, telling San Antonio Woman Magazine said: “We get the biggest kick out of each other; I just enjoy his company.”
Longoria, 35, filed divorce papers in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday morning, citing "irreconcilable differences."
"It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce," she Tweeted.
"We love each other deeply and pray for each other's happiness."
The actress confirmed the report to her pal, Extra host Mario Lopez, who revealed the actress found hundreds of texts on Parker's phone from the wife of one of his teammates.

He just married her because of who she was and not because he was truly in love with her so he cheated. This is not the first time so it's not Eva, he just loved her but he wasn't in love with her.

That 1 million dollar wedding in France was all just a fairy-tale anyway. That big ass wedding and the contraversy surrounding it was a red flag. I have a hard time believing that she had no idea what was going on. Tony has even said she was aware of the sexting relationship he was having. So I have to question the timing of her filing for divorce. You pull this right before you "big" interview? I don't buy it. Sounds to me like she wanted the upper hand in trying to make him look bad. This is what happens when you fall in love with the fantasy and don't love the person.
