Ne-Yo expected to sell a lot more copies of his new cd Libra Scale.
Ne-Yo has revealed that he is "disturbed" by the poor sales of his latest album Libra Scale.Jacked from Digital Spy
The singer songwriter, who put out his fourth studio LP last month, admitted that he was disappointed by the record's chart performance, which he largely attributed to illegal downloading.
"I was a little disturbed by my first week numbers, but a lot of things went into that first week number… the album getting leaked a month in advance definitely had something to do with it," he told CW Detroit.
"That was another situation where I jumped on my soapbox [twitter] and let the world know how I felt about that. You know it’s the world we live in today, it’s the game. You either play the game or you get out.
He added: "I’m not gonna let the ignorance of some stop me from doing what I feel like I was put on this earth to do."
Libra Scale entered the UK album chart at number 11, and sold 117,000 copies on its opening week in the US.

Boy please! No one is checking for you or your album anymore that's why your album flopped! Nicki minaj's album leaked weeks before it came out too, but it still managed to sell 371,000 copies it's 1st week and debuted at #2 so, ne-yo can't blame it all on illegal downloads just face the fact that your fish face and whiney nasally voice is no longer appealing
