Thora Birch's creepy ex-porn star dad got her fired from a lead role in an off Broadway play.
American Beauty and Ghost World star THORA BIRCH was axed from an off Broadway production of DraculaJacked from The National Enquirer
thanks to her porn star dad's weird behavior, the play's director confirmed.
Thora, 28, was set to make her legit stage debut in the adaption of the Bram Stoker vampire standard but was fired and replaced with understudy Emily Bridges, actor Beau Bridges' daughter, amid allegations her father Paul Birch, who appeared in XXX classic Deep Throat, threatened another actor
during rehearsals.
According to reports, Birch went off because the actor had been giving Thora a back-rub.

, the play's director, told ABC News, "I had to let her go for the safety of my cast and crew. It's unfortunate because Thora's performance would have been an extremely interesting and innovative performance to watch - that's why I hired her in the first place.
"It really was like Nightmare on Elm Street. It was bizarre. He also insisted on hanging out in the girls' dressing room. And all the girls are in it. Including other people besides his daughter! I just thought, 'This is getting stranger and stranger.'
"I have a 31-year-old daughter and it would never occur to me to be that involved in my daughter's life. It seemed to be exactly the opposite for them."
Thora's father, Jack Birch denied the accusations to the New York Times, "I was trying to convey Thora's discomfort. In no way was I making a threat."
