Lifetime Producing Brittany Murphy Biopic

Lifetime gives troubled actress Brittany Murphy the biopic treatment.

Troubled Hollywood starlet Brittany Murphy, who died at age 32 in 2009, will be the subject of a biopic to air Sept. 6 on Lifetime.
“The Brittany Murphy Story” will also focus on how her mother, Sharon Murphy — played by Sherilyn Fenn (“Twin Peaks”) — asserted that her daughter’s death was not accidental.
Amanda Fuller, who has had roles on the ABC series “Last Man Standing” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” will step into Murphy’s shoes.
After receiving good notices in films such as “Girl Interrupted” and “Clueless,” Murphy was thought to be on her way to bigger things. She had already been nominated for a Tony award for her performance in a production of Arthur Miller’s “A View from the Bridge”and received critical accolades for her work in the big-screen movie “8 Mile” with Eminem.
She also voiced the role of Luanne on in the long-running Fox animated comedy, “King of the Hill.”
Her death, on December 20, 2009, was attributed to pneumonia and anemia. Her husband, Simon Monjack, died a few months later.
Brittany Murphy was born in Atlanta, but moved with her mother to Edison, NJ, after her parents split up.
When Murphy announced that she wanted to pursue an acting career, her mother moved out to LA.

Lifetime must be running out of plots and story lines. Who is really pressed to see biopics of dead people?

will they show who killed and poisoned her and her husband?

I'm sorry but she was not a big enough star for her own biopic. Lifetime needs to stop
