Khloe Kardashian is facing backlash online after posting on Instagram on Tuesday, November 11 a controversial meme of her, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian. In the meme, she referred to herself and her two sisters as the KKK or Ku Klux Klan, the white supremacist group who played a violent role against African Americans throughout history.
In the photo, Khloe, Kim and Kourtney all wore white clothes. The photo was overlaid with the text, "The only KKK to ever let black men in." The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star captioned it, "True." The meme, which was removed after garnering more than 405,000 likes and 26,000 comments in about two hours, was reposted by Scott Disick along with caption, "And a Jew," referencing his relationship with Kourtney.
Some Instagram users were outraged by the meme. Danasia Sutton wrote, "Some people don't have any type of brains...I love the Kardashians but this is just distasteful." Another user who goes by firstname_georgina posted, "This isn't funny at all. Why make jokes about a group that terrorised and still terroises my people. You're a clown for this.
